Diane Louise Quint 

August 6, 1938 – April 9, 2024 

Diane Louise Quint, age 85 of Monroe, passed away peacefully at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Hampton Manor Assisted Living, Dundee. 

Born August 6, 1938 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. She was the daughter of the late Engvald and Selma (Jorgenson) Erdahl. Diane married her loving husband of sixty-six years, Larry K. Quint, on February 28, 1958.   

She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she sang in the church choir. Diane enjoyed quilting, sewing, and doing various crafts. She also cherished time spent traveling with her husband.  

To cherish her memory, Diane leaves her husband, Larry; three sons: Michael (Diana) Quint of Monroe, Roland (Sabine) Quint of Germany, and Larry J. Quint of Belleville; one sister, Penny Catterson of Port Angeles, Washington; three grandchildren: Christen (Matt) Calvin of La Salle, Stephen (Sarah) Quint of Monroe, and Nichole (Kody) Orkis of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and eight greatgrandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by an infant son, Lynden; one brother, Lowell; and one sister, Althea. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161, from 2 p.m. until services celebrating her life begin at 6 p.m. Rev. Larry Detruff will officiate. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow and her remains will be inurned at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blue Earth, Minnesota, at a later date.
